This is the first day of my attachment. Was told to report to Fairmount today at 8.15am, cause we're starting work at 8.30am. But we didn't really start work today. Today's like training day. There's only like 8 people under the Fairmount's housekeeping department. There's this lady who will be bringing us around the hotel. Telling us briefly what to remember, which most are the things to bring up for the in-room cleaners. We must also know which level will be using different designs of linens or the packaging of things like soap, dental kit, etc. Had break at 12+. After break, that lady bring us around to see different hotel rooms, the suites too. Got to even see the design of the future room. It's very nice! Ended the day at 4.30pm. Then home sweet home. (:

Today's the first day of work. Reached there at about 8.30am. A morning briefing is given. After which, we were separated into groups of two, ofcourse including the mentor who's attach to us per group. Then we're off to different assigned levels. I'm incharge of level 17 - 19. Our mentor bring us around to familiarize with the items and linens first. After which we start work already. My partner's doing level 14 - 16. We both shared trolleys, cause there's not enough for each of us to use it individually. Supposed to have break at 12pm, but got delayed, so had lunch at 12.30pm instead. After lunch, continue work again. Gathered at floor B2 to collect our uniforms at 2pm and get changed. Continue work afterwards. Till 3.45, we gathered at 5th floor. We were then brought outside to support the runners for the torch relay. We cheered for one of the managers who was in the relay too. After that, went back to the hotel at around 4.40pm. End work already. Signed check-out, changed, then went home already. First day of work was tiring uh. Going up and down the levels, carrying things around, mostly by stairs. And the linens are not that light in weight if we need to get like alot of it for one in-room cleaner. The north side tower's lift took a long time to come, like seriously. Faints >.> . I wonder i'm incharge of which levels tomorrow. And yehs, there's work on weekends too! Going to be tiring. :/ . Okaee! It's sleeping time, if not tomorrow i can't get up. Goodnights, tataaa! (:
